We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by driving detailed analysis, clear documentation, and smooth communication across teams. This role is critical to ensuring that product and project outcomes align with business goals and user needs. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, scrum masters, engineering teams, QA, and key stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and validate deliverables. You’ll also be expected to mentor junior BAs, lead discovery sessions, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development or digital product environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC in both Agile and Waterfall settings
- Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and converting them into clear functional specifications
- Skilled in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product backlogs (using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools)
- Proven experience conducting workshops, interviews, and stakeholder analysis sessions
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI), and basic SQL
- Proficient in creating BRD, FRD, and use case documents
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, test case validation, and sign-off
- Familiarity with change management, business impact analysis, and risk identification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional collaboration
